University of Miami linebacker Denzel Perryman will return for his senior season.Perryman, who led the team with 108 tackles and recorded six games with 10-plus stops, made the announcement on Friday. He received a third-round grade from the NFL Draft advisory board.”I decided to stay because it is the best decision for me and my family,” Perryman said in a statement. ”Ever since Coach (Al) Golden got here, I feel like this program is moving forward and will continue to rise under his direction.”This coaching staff is dedicated to player development and getting us better. I’ve grown as a player and person each year thanks to them.”The first-team All-ACC player started all 13 games for the Hurricanes, collecting five tackles for a loss, 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble and three pass breakups.Over three seasons, Perryman has appeared in 34 games (24 starts). He has compiled 241 tackles (17.5 TFL), 2.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, five pass breakups and one interception.
