I will be honest, I failed you. I was unable to find either a newer Volvo V60 Polestar that wasn’t $10,000 too expensive, nor could I find a Volvo V70R wagon that wasn’t $10,000 too cheap. But I believe that somewhere out there is a middle ground worth hunting for. I found this S60R in red with the coolest shifter of modern mass-produced performance cars for sale not far in Connecticut with pretty low miles for half your budget. I would scoop it up and raise hell in it, if it were me, though I think keeping an eye out for a good V70R isn’t a bad plan, either. … [Read more...] about I Need A Responsible Family Car With A Manual Transmission! Since you probably don’t want a worn out GM car from the early ‘90s I think I found something a bit cooler. Here is a 1964 Chrysler Imperial LeBaron, the name just sounds cool. I don’t know how successful you’ll be there, but even the “regular” WRX STI will be a blast, no matter what kind of weather you’re up against. … [Read more...] about I Have A Short Attention Span When It Comes To Cars! As someone whose only car is a good 45 years old, I can tell you that using a classic as a daily is good at really very few things, but “getting complete strangers on your side” is one of the few. People hang out of windows to tell you their life story if you drive an old Volkswagen around, and generally anything cute and old puts you on the good foot off the rip. You get a lot of style if you buy old, and it reads as intentional in a way that you only get in new cars costing five or 10 times as much as an oldie. … [Read more...] about I Fly Private Jets And I Need A Car That Blends In With High Rollers For $30,000!
