From the factory, it came with a Hunter Green Metallic paint job (which I plan to restore, along with the rest of this Jeep using parts from the Wisconsin “holy grail”); the “Power Equipment Group” (power windows!); and the Up Country Suspension Group, which means factory tow hooks, skid plates, taller springs, and upgraded shocks. A manual transmission ZJ is rare enough, but to find out this well-equipped, and especially with the factory off-road setup, is basically impossible. … [Read more...] about I Just Bought The Holy Grail Of Jeep Grand Cherokees But It Has 260,000 Miles And Is Broken In The Middle Of Nowhere

“if you bang it with that frequency it’ll just sit there and keep going forever. It won’t slow down, it won’t dissipate, and that’s essentially what we’re talking about here with the vibration in the new Wrangler,” Chernoby said. “When you hit a bump in the road, if everything is just right, this suspension can set off that resonance and what we started seeing is as soon as it got cold this past fall, early winter, we started seeing complaints.” … [Read more...] about This Jeep’s ‘Death Wobble’ Is So Terrifying It Will Haunt Your Dreams

The X5 falls short in regards to towing capacity, but for my purposes, I’d gladly give that up for some additional luxury and comfort. … [Read more...] about The 475-HP Dodge Durango SRT Is A Muscle Truck That’s Ready To Haul
